Democrat congresswoman caught texting with Epstein during 2019 hearing
Democratic Virgin Islands Del. Stacey Plaskett actually texted with Jeffrey Epstein during a high-profile congressional hearing that was held in 2019.
This, according to the Daily Caller, was revealed in the latest Epstein file release.
A video has been posted showing the text exchange occurring in real time. Take a look:

"Quick! I'm up next"
This took place in February 2019, when Trump attorney Michael Cohen appeared before Congress. In the exchange, Epstein essentially appears to be coaching Plaskett through the questioning.
The Daily Caller reports:
In one exchange, Epstein wrote to Plaskett, presumably referring to Cohen, “Hes [sic] opened the door to questions re who are the other henchmen at trump org.” Plaskett replied, “Yup. Very aware and waiting my turn.” In another exchange, after Cohen mentioned longtime Trump aide Rhona Graff, Epstein alerted her, highlighting “Cohen brought up RONA – keeper of the secrets.” Plaskett responded, “RONA?? Quick I’m up next is that an acronym. [sic]” Epstein clarified, “Thats [sic] his assistant.”
Elsewhere, during the testimony, Plaskett continued to seek guidance from Epstein.
The Daily Caller reports:
Plaskett then pressed Cohen about Trump Organization personnel. “Are there other people that we should be meeting with?” Plaskett asked. She then pushed him to “quickly give us as many names as you can,” and brought up Graff by name. The exchange closely corresponded with Epstein’s earlier prompt that Cohen had “opened the door to questions” about Trump’s associates.
Earlier on, Epstein actually complimented Plaskett on her appearance. He also seemed to admonish her for appearing to be chewing something on camera. At the end of Plaskett's questioning, Epstein told her, "good work."
Plaskett responds
The big question here, of course, is what a member of Congress was doing texting Epstein during a high-profile congressional hearing.
Plaskett has released a statement on the matter.
"During the hearing, Congresswoman Plaskett received texts from staff, constituents, and the public at large offering advice, support, and in some cases partisan vitriol, including from Epstein," she wrote.
Plaskett continued:
As a former prosecutor, she welcomes information that helps her get at the truth and took on the GOP that was trying to bury the truth. The congresswoman has previously made clear her long record combating sexual assault and human trafficking, her disgust over Epstein’s deviant behavior and her support for his victims.
Apparently, there is nothing to see here, or, at least, that's what Plaskett is claiming.
