Joe Biden was threatened with removal via the 25th Amendment if he would not end his re-election campaign, according to a shocking report.

Democrats have praised Biden's decision to forgo a second term as a patriotic act of self-sacrifice. But a Biden family source claims he was "set up" by his own party, which ramped up pressure on him to quit following a disastrous debate on CNN.

Biden was THREATENED

Biden's 90-minute debate proved to be a massive miscalculation. His lost, vacant expression and incoherent statements created panic among Democrats and ultimately led to his historic decision to bow out.

But according to the Post's source, the debate was, in fact, part of an elaborate plot to force Biden out of the way.

“That debate was a set-up to convince Democrats that he couldn’t run for president,” the source said.

Biden had resisted escalating demands to step down for about three weeks, as top Democrats like Sen. Chuck Schumer (NY) and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (CA) encircled the isolated president. As Biden remained defiant, Democrats reportedly threatened to remove him from office using the 25th Amendment.

Abandoned by people he long considered allies and friends, Biden leaned on his family for support.

“Hunter felt he [Joe Biden] was being set up and he was very concerned about his father,” the source said. “These people, these officials were not on Joe’s side.”

Palace coup

Biden's decision to end his campaign is said to have materialized in a matter of hours last weekend. It came as such a shock that his own staff learned of it only moments before the news got out.

But the Post's source said the decision had actually been made days before, on Tuesday. That was before Biden announced he was sick with COVID.

Republicans have blasted Biden's unceremonious removal as a "palace coup" by a ruthless political elite, one which was content to ignore Biden's cognitive decline until it could no longer be kept hidden.

“When I saw him a couple of years ago, it was frightening,” said the source. “He was just repeating slogans and had no idea who I was.”

One doesn't have to feel sorry for Biden to be disturbed by the cynical scheming of the corrupt elites who disposed of him.
