FBI touts arrest of January 6th 'fugitives' one day after furious Biden speech denouncing 'insurrection'

The FBI touted the arrest of three "fugitives" from January 6th on the third anniversary of the Capitol riot.

The arrests came just one day after President Biden gave a furious campaign speech denouncing the "insurrectionists."

Biden's FBI touts arrests

The feds arrested Jonathan Daniel Pollock, his sister Oliva Michele Pollock, and their friend Joseph Daniel Hutchinson III at a ranch in Florida.

Jonathan Pollock fled in the summer of 2021 after he was charged with assaulting police. Olivia Pollock and Joseph Hutchinson disappeared in the summer of 2023. Hutchinson worked at a gun store owned by the Pollock family.

"The FBI executed three federal arrests warrants early this morning at a ranch in Groveland, Florida in Lake County. The subjects taken into custody are January 6 fugitives Jonathan Daniel Pollock, Olivia Michele Pollock, and Joseph Daniel Hutchinson III," the FBI's Tampa Office wrote on X.

"The defendants are scheduled to appear in Federal Court in Ocala, Florida on Monday, January 8. No further details concerning their capture are available at this time.”

Just a coincidence?

The timing of the arrests is sure to raise eyebrows, since Joe Biden has placed January 6th at the center of his re-election bid.

Just one day before the arrests, in his first campaign speech of 2024, Biden blasted Trump and his supporters as a threat to "democracy" using Valley Forge, George Washington's winter encampment, as a backdrop.

Biden blasted the "insurrectionists" and bragged about the punishment they have received to date.

"Collectively to date, they have been sentenced to more than 840 years in prison," Biden said. "What’s Trump done? Instead of calling them criminals, he’s called these insurrectionists patriots. They’re patriots."

Biden's desperation....

Over 1,200 people have been charged. While hundreds are accused of assaulting police, the majority have not been accused of any violence.

The DOJ has given recurring updates on its progress, often in breathless tones that match Biden's rhetoric.

Biden's handpicked prosecutor in Washington D.C., Matthew Graves, warned that the DOJ will pursue those who never entered the Capitol during a press conference on three years since the riot.

Apparently, Biden is running out of "insurrectionists" to arrest - but he needs to keep January 6th in the news as much as possible to distract from his failures.
