Former Jill Biden spokesperson Michael LaRosa published an op-ed on Fox News Monday that criticized the "Biden Bubble" that surrounded former President Joe Biden and the first lady, calling it a "cult" of "mean girls" who operated out of the White House.

LaRosa wrote in support of former Vice President Kamala Harris's new book, "107 Days," which he said exposed the bullying tactics of those who surrounded the Bidens while he was president.

“Harris’s forthcoming book, according to recently released excerpts, says what insiders whispered for years: the Biden bubble was full of bullies,” LaRosa opined, praising her for “finally saying the quiet part out loud."

LaRosa shared his experience in the piece, which he said dovetailed with what Harris said in her book.

"It was all blurred"

“Inside the White House, the Regina Georges of Biden’s circle ruled like mean girls and policed loyalty,” he wrote. “Staff weren’t serving a president and first lady — they were serving a cult,” LaRosa said. “You never knew when Regina was in charge or when the Bidens were. It was all blurred."

LaRosa wasn't directly critical of the Bidens, although his words do fault them for allowing the bullying to happen.

“Joe and Jill Biden were warm, decent, empathetic,” LaRosa recalled. “But they enabled some of the nastiest and most mean-spirted people I’ve ever encountered in politics. That contradiction defines the Biden era.”

From his description, it seems like the Bidens' fatal flaw was not being able to take any criticism of how they ran the administration and the country.

Because of this, they were apparently unable to improve as they went along and ended up doubling down on many narratives that harmed the public's perception of the administration.

LaRosa implied it was ironic that while Biden purported to save the country from Trump, whom Democrats consider the "ultimate bully," the truth is that "bullies are everywhere, even among Democrats, and despite his brand — even around Biden."

Attagirl

LaRosa gave Harris an attagirl for standing up to the Biden bullies with the publication of the book, in which she seems to mostly complain about how unfair everything was.

The Biden team's response to this kind of proves her point, though.

The response to her allegations: more bullying.

"Vice President Harris was simply not good at the job," a former Biden White House official said. "She had basically zero substantive role in any of the administration's key work streams, and instead would just dive bomb in for stilted photo ops that exposed how out of depth she was."
