Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is introducing articles of impeachment against FBI Director Christopher Wray.
The news was first revealed in a report by the Daily Caller and shared by Greene on Twitter.

“Under Wray’s watch, the FBI has intimidated, harassed, and entrapped American citizens that have been deemed enemies of the Biden regime. As such, Director Wray has turned the FBI into Joe Biden and Merrick Garland’s personal police force," Greene wrote in a statement.
"The Soviet-style tactics used by the FBI against normal Americans are unprecedented in this country. FBI whistleblower Garret O’Boyle told congressional investigators that the FBI created a terrorist threat tag following the Dobbs Supreme Court decision in 2022," she continued.
"O’Boyle confirmed that the purpose of the tag was to target pro-life individuals. On September 23, 2022, armed FBI agents in tactical gear raided the family home of Mark Houck, a pro-life Catholic and father of 7 young children, because he obstructed access to an abortion clinic,” she added.

"The decision to introduce Articles of Impeachment against FBI Director Christopher Wray comes after Special Counsel John Durham released his final report concluding the FBI had not verified intel when it opened the Crossfire Hurricane investigation into Trump in 2016," the Gateway Pundit explained.
James Comer served as the FBI director at that time, with former President Donald Trump calling for retribution against him following the release of the report.
FBI special agents Garret O'Boyle, Steve Friend, former FBI State Operations Specialist Marcus Allen and president of Empower Oversight, Tristian Leavitt, will testify at 9 a.m. Thursday, focusing on the 'abuses of power' the former officials witnessed.

Greene's impeachment effort also comes after multiple whistleblowers from the FBI have recently testified to Congress.
"Specifically, the former agents accuse the FBI of inflating statistics on 'domestic violent extremism' to fit the Biden administration's political narrative that extremism is on the rise nationwide," the Daily Mail reported.
"The manipulative casefile practice creates false and misleading crime statistics, constituting false official federal statements," the affidavit read.
It is unclear how far the impeachment effort will go but Greene's message is clear that she and other Americans are ready for a change in leadership at the FBI.
