Evidence continues to be revealed that sheds light on just how high up the origins of the "Arctic Frost" go -- all the way to the top levels of former President Joe Biden's administration.

According to JustTheNews, high-level players in the Biden admin were involved in launching the operation, which was aimed at targeting conservatives, including Donald Trump and high-profile MAGA world people. 

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) has been instrumental in shedding light on Arctic Frost, noting in a document this week that former Attorney General Merrick Garland was one of the top Biden officials who signed off on the operation.

Then-Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco, and then-FBI Director Christopher Wray also signed off on it.

What's going on?

The three top Biden officials all signed off on a memo titled "Approval to Open a Certain Sensitive Investigative Matter [SIM] Investigation."

“WFO [Washington Field Office] seeks to open this SIM full investigation based on evidence that presents specific and articulable facts that individuals, both known and unknown, engaged in a conspiracy to obstruct Congress’s certification of the Electoral College on January 6, 2020 [sic]," the memo read.

It added, "WFO seeks to open this SIM full investigation based on evidence that presents specific and articulable facts that individuals, both known and unknown, engaged in a conspiracy to obstruct Congress's certification of the Electoral College on January 6, 2020, including through the submission of fraudulent certificates of electors' votes to the United States Government."

Notably, a major error in the memo pointed to 2020, instead of 2021, when the January 6 event took place. Nobody seemed to address that obvious error for some reason.

Grassley, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, in April released “FBI emails provided by legally protected whistleblowers” which he said showed “officials in the Biden White House, including then-White House Deputy Counsel Jonathan Su, personally assisted the FBI in securing the government cell phones of President Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence.”

The senator from Iowa added, “The cell phones were acquired before Trump was formally added as a subject of the investigation."

Anti-Trump FBI involved

It wasn't only high-level Biden officials behind the operation.

The Iowa senator said there was "further evidence anti-Trump FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge Timothy Thibault played a central role in opening and advancing the Arctic Frost investigation, despite other agents’ concerns that the evidence only supported a limited preliminary investigation."

Thibault has a long history of anti-Trump rhetoric and posts, according to Grassley.

Only time will tell what else comes of the revelations of the origins of Arctic Frost.
