Ilhan Omar's daughter resorts to selling used clothes online

Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) daughter was a very public opponent of Israel and was an active protester at Columbia University at the height of the anti-Israel protests, making a name for herself, but nothing to be proud of.

According to Breitbart, it seems as though the professional anti-Israel protest career path isn't working out to well, as it was revealed this week that Isra Hirsi, 22, has resorted to selling her used clothes online.

The Minnesota Democratic lawmaker's daughter was "one of more than 100 anti-Israel protesters who were arrested in April 2024 by NYPD after establishing an encampment on Columbia University’s campus."

Because of her antics at Columbia University, Hirsi was actually suspended from Barnard College after she was arrested. However, the punishment was essentially rescinded about a week later after she complained that the punishment left her "homeless" and without food.

What's going on?

Hirsi ultimately graduated from the $90,000 per year school and at the time, her mother expressed her praise in a social media post.

“There is no greater joy as a parent than seeing your child succeed, and today I am overwhelmed with joy and gratitude to see my eldest daughter Isra Hirsi graduate college," Rep. Omar said at the time.

“It’s been an incredible four years of tremendous growth and challenges as she navigated college life through a pandemic, moved to NYC and a righteous fight against Columbia University’s support of genocide,” she added. “I am so proud of you, Isra and I can’t wait to see you flourish in the real world.”

But unlike presumably most other graduates, she decided not to seek out a viable career path, and instead chose to protest, whine, and cry about Israel, which, as it would turn out, doesn't pay the bills.

“Unemployment got me," Hirsi told her 82,000 followers on social media.

She added, "I am now selling on [Depop]!! Check out if u wish."

Breitbart noted:

Hirsi was looking to sell several skirts, a pair of Dr. Martens boots, and a “beloved multicolored striped cardigan,” according to the report.
