A federal judge has just ruled that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. can bring a lawsuit against the administration of President Joe Biden.

According to Fox News, Louisiana U.S. District Judge Terry Doughty issued his ruling last week.

The lawsuit has do with alleged social media censorship of one of Kennedy's charities by the Biden administration.

This comes as Kennedy has suspended his presidential campaign and has endorsed former President Donald Trump's. There will be more on this in a moment.

The details of the lawsuit

The lawsuit has to do with the Children's Health Defense charity, which, according to Fox, was founded by Kennedy and has as its mission the "ending childhood health epidemics by eliminating toxic exposure."

According to Kennedy, this charity was censored by the Biden administration because it does not like the fact that the charity has questioned the safety of some vaccines for children. To be more precise, Kennedy alleges that Facebook, Youtube, and others censored his charity after being pressured by the Biden administration to do so.

Doughty has ruled that this lawsuit can now proceed.

In his ruling, he wrote:

The Court finds that Kennedy is likely to succeed on his claim that suppression of content posted was caused by actions of Government Defendants, and there is a substantial risk that he will suffer similar injury in the near future.

Kennedy and his legal team are celebrating the ruling.

Background

The big story of the past week involving Kennedy - in addition to the fact that he is being allowed to sue the Biden administration for censoring his charity - is that he has ended his presidential campaign and has teamed up with Trump.

In fact, Kennedy is now actively campaigning for Trump - and against Vice President Kamala Harris.

Kennedy, for example, recently said:

Polling would suggest that it is very possible that this move by Kennedy could essentially hand the 2024 presidential election to Trump. This is because it is believed that more of Kennedy's supporters - particularly supporters in crucial swing states - will vote for Trump than will vote for Harris.
