Vice President Kamala Harris has frequently exhibited a bizarre and confusing speaking style that some critics have likened to a "word salad."

This trait was on display yet again late last week when a heckler pushed Harris close to the point of verbal collapse.

"Moving forward, moving forward, understand the difference here"

According to Fox News, the scene played out while the vice president addressed supporters at a campaign rally in Reno, Nevada on Thursday evening.

"You know what? Let me say something about this," Harris declared as loud shouts began to emerge from somewhere in the audience.

"We are here because we are fighting for a democracy," she stated. "Fighting for a democracy. And understand the difference here, understand the difference here, moving forward, moving forward, understand the difference here."

"Democracy can be complicated, sometimes it's okay"

"What we are looking at is a difference in this election, let's move forward and see where we are because on the issue, for example, freedom of choice," Harris went on to declare.

"That's OK," the Democratic nominee shouted even as those in attendance attempted to down out the heckling. "That's alright. That’s OK."

"You know what? Democracy can be complicated, sometimes it's okay. We're fighting for the right for people to be heard and not jailed because they speak their mind. We know what's at stake," Harris insisted.

Fox News noted that although it approached Harris's campaign for a comment regarding her remarks on Thursday, no response was offered.

Trump adviser: Harris "cracks under pressure" and "chokes every time"

The network also pointed out how Harris' awkward performance was met with more derision from social media detractors, including former Trump White House adviser Stephen Miller.

"CRACKS UNDER PRESSURE," Miller wrote in a post on X.  "CHOKES EVERY TIME. Not a quality you want in the commander-in-chief."

Conservative author and political commentator Tom Young spoke up as well, describing the vice president as being "the word salad queen."

So did Fox News contributor and former feminist leader Tammy Bruce, who asserted in a post of her own that "the gibberish never ends" with Harris.
