Kamala Harris surrogate stopped in his tracks when he calls her 'authentic'

Katie Couric stopped a Kamala Harris surrogate in his tracks when he attempted to spin Kamala's inept public performances as "authentic."

During an episode of Couric's podcast Next Question, guest "Charlamagne tha God" defended Harris' heavy reliance on scripted talking points as proof of her professionalism.

"Yeah, I think she was being authentically who she is, which is a very disciplined, seasoned veteran politician," he told Couric.

Harris shill contradicted

Couric was incredulous about the idea that Harris is authentic, noting that she often dodges direct questioning with rambling, vague answers.

"I have to beg to differ with you on that point," Couric said. "I think that she takes a really long time to get to her point, and that she does rely on talking points too often."

Couric added that Harris seems "afraid to say something that will later come back to haunt her."

Another common criticism of Harris' messaging is her refusal to admit even partial responsibility for problems currently plaguing the nation, despite her being in office right now.

For example, Couric noted Harris' failure to acknowledge any mistakes on immigration, despite the clear verdict of public opinion that the border has gotten out of control.

"I just wish she would say, ‘This is our plan,’ or, ‘You’re right, a lot of illegal immigrants have come into this country during the Biden administration, but this is why, and this is what I want to do about it moving forward,’ you know?"

Double standard?

Charlamagne conceded that Couric has a point, but he claimed the media have judged Harris by an unfair "double standard."

In Charlamagne's delusional view, the media have been too soft on Trump by normalizing him.

In reality, they have done everything possible to paint him as a monster - as a modern-day Hitler.

The smear campaign hasn't worked, because Trump - unlike Harris - actually is authentic. Voters know exactly what they are getting from Trump, and it isn't "fascism."

Liberals can come up with whatever whiny excuses they want for Kamala's weakness. The reality is that Americans have no idea who she is or what she stands for, and she has done nothing to fix this in the home stretch. It's no wonder why she is going all in on the "Trump is Hitler" nonsense.
