During his first term in office, President-elect Donald Trump appointed three new justices to America's highest judicial body.

Now the man who helped Trump reshape the Supreme Court is hoping to "crush liberal dominance" of American culture.

Attorney and conservative activist Leonard Leo is widely credited with aiding in the selection of multiple judicial appointees, and according to the Guardian, he recently spoke with NPR about his work with something known as the Teneo Network.

The organization's website explains that it seeks to "recruit, connect, and deploy talented conservatives who lead opinion and shape the industries that shape society."

Leo told NPR, "I have to say I am impressed by how quickly the Teneo Network has been able to build pipelines of talent."

"And I am also very impressed with how quickly you’re seeing efforts, for example, in the journalism and entertainment spaces, the standing up of new production studios and news platforms," Leo continued.

"The idea is to recruit and identify talented young professionals"

"Very impressed with the speed with which the debate about ESG [environmental, social and governance corporate policies] has kind of flipped and changed," he added.

Leo acknowledged that the Teneo Network will employ the same methods that he previously used to identify and promote conservative jurists.

"It's very important, in my view, to create pipelines of talent and networks of very driven, strategic people in all sectors of American life," he declared.

"If you want to introduce, you know, the Western cultural tradition and traditional values," Leo stressed before adding, "So in the case of Hollywood, for example, the idea is to recruit and identify talented young professionals who have a knack for content creation and other aspects of the production of entertainment."

Leo has ties to billionaire donor

The Guardian noted how Leo has ties to major conservative donors, such as billionaire Barre Seid, who previously owned electrical products manufacturer Tripp Lite.

The left-wing outlet ProPublica reported two years ago that Seid has contributed roughly $1.6 billion to conservative causes, with a particular focus on climate change, tax cuts, and regulatory reform.

What's more, he has also made significant donations to Hillsdale College, a right-leaning liberal arts university located in Michigan.
