Maxwell reveals truth about alleged Trump-Epstein connection
For weeks now, we have watched while Democrats attempted to link President Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein's criminal enterprise.
Now, however, one of Epstein's closest accomplices says that Trump is innocent.
Breitbart News reports that this information comes from Ghislaine Maxwell. She was interviewed by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Trump administration just released the records from that interview.

Democrats' narrative bites the dust
The Democrats have claimed that Trump did what Epstein did, namely, inappropriate and illegal activities with underage girls. Maxwell, however, says that Trump did nothing of the sort.
She said:
I actually never saw the president in any type of massage setting. I never witnessed the president in any inappropriate setting in anyway. The president was never inappropriate with anybody. In the times that I was with him, he was a gentleman in all respects.
Maxwell also spoke more generally about Trump and Epstein's relationship, if that is the right word for it. Perhaps, "connection" is better.
She said:
I think they were friendly like people are in social settings. I don’t — I don’t think they were close friends or, I certainly never witnessed the president in any of — I don’t recall ever seeing him in his house, for instance.
Just like that, it would appear that another one of the Democrats' anti-Trump narratives is history.
Or is it?
The Democrats are now trying to keep their Trump-Epstein narrative alive by questioning Maxwell's credibility. The idea is that Maxwell's statements to the DOJ cannot be trust because she is angling for a pardon from Trump.
Here, for example, is how Politico framed the story:
Convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, who is seeking a pardon from Donald Trump, told top Justice Department officials during an interview last month that she never witnessed the president “in any inappropriate setting” with girls introduced to him by disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
The article goes on to state that Maxwell "makes unfailingly flattering reference to Trump" throughout the interview. The implication, of course, is that Maxwell is just saying what Trump wants to hear in the hope of securing a pardon.
You can make your own judgment about Maxwell's credibility.
However, consider this: if Trump really did what the Democrats claim he did with Epstein, do you really think the Democrats would not have tried to put Trump in prison? After all, they've tried to put him in prison for much less.
