After years of being lied about by the media, Melania Trump is finally telling her story.

The famously mysterious former First Lady and wife of Donald Trump teased her upcoming memoir, saying she has a "responsibility" to "clarify the facts" about her thoroughly scrutinized personal life.

Melania shares "the truth"

The book, titled Melania, hits shelves in October and is available for pre-order.

In a black-and-white video, the former model took a subtle swipe at the liberal media for "misrepresentations" of her. She said the "deeply personal" book would give readers "the truth."

"Writing this memoir has been a deeply personal and reflective journey for me," she said in the video.

"As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts. I believe it is important to share my perspective: the truth."

Silence is golden...

The Former First Lady has cultivated a mysterious reputation, often shying from the spotlight while showing dedication to her son Barron, who began college this week at New York University.

Melania has kept a low profile as her husband seeks the presidency again, appearing at few campaign events. She was at the Republican National Convention in July, days after her husband survived an assassination attempt, although she did not give a speech.

Her new book, which comes from Skyhorse Publishing, will give readers insight into one of the most enigmatic figures in American politics.

Melania "reflects on her Slovenian childhood, the pivotal moments that led her to the world of high fashion in Europe and New York, and the serendipitous meeting with Donald Trump, a chance encounter that forever changed the course of her life," the book's summary says.

"Melania opens up about their courtship, life in the spotlight, and experiencing the joy of motherhood. She shares behind-the-scenes stories from her time in the White House, shedding light on her advocacy work and the causes close to her heart."

In a world where low-class "influencers" are constantly spilling their guts for attention on social media, Melania certainly stands out with her dignified silence. By leaving America guessing about her, Melania has created plenty of anticipation for her new book.
