Michelle Obama claims Harris being 'picked apart' unfairly

Michelle Obama rushed to defend vice president Kamala Harris from those "picking apart" her widely panned interview performances, which have faced criticism even from supporters.

While campaigning in Michigan on Saturday, a visibly angry and unhinged Obama claimed that Harris' critics expect perfection from her while holding Donald Trump to a different standard.

"I hope you'll forgive me if I'm a little frustrated that some of us are choosing to ignore Donald Trump's gross incompetence while asking Kamala to dazzle us at every turn," Obama whined.

Michelle Obama panics

Michelle Obama seems to be confused. No one is expecting Harris to be perfect. All voters want to see is some basic competence.

Still, Obama insisted that Trump is in "mental decline" as she rattled off a litany of talking points about the legal cases Democrats have brought against him.

"I hope that you'll forgive me if I'm a little angry that we are indifferent to his erratic behavior, his obvious mental decline, his history as a convicted felon, a known slumlord, a predator found liable for sexual abuse," Obama said.

"All of this while we pick apart countless answers from interviews that he doesn't even have the courage to do, y'all."

Which candidate is unfit?

Harris' "word salad" interviews have faced criticism even from liberals like Obama adviser David Axelrod, who was among the critics of her CNN town hall last week.

The vice president spent most of the event awkwardly avoiding questions about her record with evasive, garbled answers, or what Axelrod labeled "word salad city."

Still, the Harris campaign has tried to paint Trump as mentally "exhausted" and also, somehow, a deeply dangerous threat to "democracy" who will turn America into a dictatorship.

Most of the media have parroted this deranged "Trump is Hitler" narrative, despite Obama's deluded belief that Trump is somehow getting a break from the press.

Trump held a free-wheeling, three-hour conversation Friday with Joe Rogan on his top-rated podcast, which has a large male audience. Harris declined an interview with Rogan, leading to further criticism of her play-it-safe strategy as polls show a wide gender gap.

Michelle Obama scolds voters

As Harris shows signs of lost momentum in the home stretch, Michelle Obama scolded voters who are considering a vote for Trump, and men in particular, saying they are letting down the women in their lives.

"I am praying that those of us contemplating voting for Trump or not voting at all will snap out of whatever fog we are in. I am praying that we consider the decades of sacrifice and struggle by all of our ancestors, the folks who marched and sacrificed and shed their blood for us. We have to ask ourselves, ‘is a vote for Trump, or no vote at all, the way we honor their lives?’ And if that's the case, that surely doesn't sound like freedom to me."
