Michelle Obama says making babies is the 'least' function of the reproductive system

Michelle Obama really doesn't like kids.

In her latest self-absorbed rant, the Former First Lady cast a jaundiced eye at the miracle of life - and the women who take pride in giving it.

Speaking on her struggling podcast IMO, Obama claimed that a woman's reproductive system is not actually designed to create human life.

Michelle Obama's biology lesson

The vocal feminist was attempting to argue that men legislating against abortion have a narrow view of women's health. But she quickly discredited herself by making an absurd, and wholly indefensible claim.

"We haven't been researched, we haven't been considered, and it still affects the way a lot of men lawmakers, a lot of male politicians, a lot of male religious leaders think about the issue of choice as if it's just about the fetus, the baby," Obama said.

"Women's reproductive health is about our life," she added. "It's about this whole complicated reproductive system that the least of what it does is produce life."

Well, that's just wrong.  The left loves to consult "experts" on everything, but we can confidently say without any special wisdom that the purpose of the reproductive system is to create new life.

Miracle of life

In Obama's worldview, the conservatives who acknowledge reality are reducing women to machines.

"It’s a very important thing that it does, but you only produce life if the machine that’s producing it—if you want to whittle us down to a machine—if the machine is functioning in a healthy, streamlined kind of way. But there is no discussion or apparent connection between the two," she said.

But ironically, it is Obama who is comparing women to machines. The irreducibly complex process of creating and bearing life is a mystery that cannot be copied by human ingenuity. We can never hope to replace the life-giving power that women alone possess.

A man can pretend he is a woman, and be encouraged to deform himself by doctors, but he will never actually be a woman, and nothing defines this distinction better than the simple fact that he cannot bear children.

Obama has clearly imbibed deeply from the well of sexual nihilism, which in its most depraved and extreme form treats male and female natures as completely chosen, arbitrary, interchangeable. Some people find these lies liberating, but no amount of sophistry will ever make them true.

On a larger point, it appears to have not occurred to Obama that some women are actually happy being mothers.

Then again, this is someone who makes a living by talking about her latest therapy session on a podcast that almost nobody watches.
