MSNBC under fire for equating Trump MSG rally with 1939 Nazi rally

It's the oldest trick in the liberal playbook whenever their side is on the verge of losing.

The left, including most of the mainstream, establishment media, are now pushing the narrative that somehow, former President Donald Trump, who has overwhelming support from the Jewish community, is a "Nazi" or "Hitler."

According to the New York Post, MSNBC is at the forefront of pushing the Hitler narrative, even interrupting coverage of Trump's Madison Square Garden rally with clips of Nazi rallies.

The coverage was described as "shameful," and the network has taken considerable heat from the Jewish community as well.

What's going on?

The network, which is full of hosts who have worked overtime to boost Vice President Kamala Harris and paint Trump in a negative light, attempted to relate Trump's MSG rally to a Nazi rally held there in 1939.

The Post noted:

The left-wing network weaved archival footage from the 1939 Nazi rally into the broadcast of Trump’s Sunday rally, which saw the iconic New York City venue packed to the rafters with jubilant supporters.

While airing footage of the MSG rally, MSNBC contributor "and avowed Trump hater Jonathan Capehart," the Post noted, made the comparison "breathlessly."

“That jamboree happening right now, in that place, is particularly chilling, because in 1939, more than 20,000 supporters of a different fascist leader – Adolf Hitler – packed the Garden for a so-called ‘pro-America rally,’” Capeheart said.

The Post noted:

Quinnipiac University journalism ethics professor Ben Bogardus told The Post networks like MSNBC were “blurring the lines” between opinion-based commentary and news reporting, and that the rhetoric is reaching a fever pitch because we’re so close to the election.

Social media responds

Users across social media blasted the left-leaning cable news network for juxtaposing the rallies.

"Yesterday’s Trump rally was filled with Americans from every walk of life including orthodox, conservative, reform, and secular Jews. I saw a woman in a burka. It wasn’t anything like a Nazi rally. Shame on MSNBC," one X user wrote.

Another X user wrote, "This rally was beautiful! Im so proud to see so many people show up for this country! I’m disgusted what the news reported yesterday! It’s out of control!"

It's embarrassing that the network would stoop to such lows.

It just goes to show just how freaked out they are at the high likelihood that Trump will once again be in the White House.
