Nathan Wade, Fani Willis' ex-lover, appears at Willis' daughter's arrest

Prosecutor Fani Willis claimed multiple times in open court that she was not in a relationship with Nathan Wade during the time frame in question, recent evidence has blown that claim out of the water, and Willis could be facing charges.

In spite of the fact that Willis and Nathan Wade have stated that they ended their relationship in 2023, he is captured on police body camera with Willis at the scene of her daughter's arrest there, as The Daily Beast reported.

Willis, who is leading the prosecution of former President Donald Trump for his alleged attempts to pressure Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to "find 11,780 votes" for him during the 2020 election, has been engulfed in scandal.

The scandal kicked off after it became public knowledge that she had appointed Wade as the special prosecutor in Trump's case without disclosing her romantic and financial relationship with Wade while she was in charge of the investigation.

Trump's Take

Willis is accused of "repeated public display of racial animus" at Trump, and Trump has stated that she "deliberately chose to 'play the race' card."

According to the former president this was part of a calculated effort to turn public opinion against the accused and deflect public attention away from herself.

Trump has also referred to Willis as "Phoney Fani" and described her as a "humiliating embarrassment."

Willis and Wade have both asserted that their relationship ended for a variety of reasons, but they have not provided any specific explanations.

The Supposed Breakup

During an interview with Good Morning America, Wade stated that they did not “plan to have some relationship in the workplace. You don’t set out to do that. Those things develop organically. They develop over time.”

In addition, he stated that “the minute we had that sobering moment, we discontinued it.”

Willis, on the other hand, provided testimony in February that contradicted the aforementioned statement. She stated, that “Wade is used to women that, as he told me one time, the only thing a woman can do for him is make him a sandwich.”

There were "always... brutal arguments" between them, according to Willis, which ultimately led to the dissolution of their partnership.

The Recent Sighting

Six months later, however, the two were seen together on the body camera of a Georgia police officer.

This occurred after Willis' pregnant daughter, Kinaya, who was 25 years old at the time, was pulled over for driving while using her cellphone, which ultimately led to her arrest for driving with a license that had been suspended.
