New Hampshire Insisting On Being First-In-Nation Primary

Joe Biden doesn't want New Hampshire to maintain its status as America's first primary.

In fact, the White House has even suggested that Joe Biden will refuse to be on the ballot if a more diverse state is not chosen to be the first primary instead.

That means that if New Hampshire has it's way, RFK is probably going to be the leading Democrat in America, at least for a while.

Joe Biden wants a state with a lot of minorities to be the first primary.

You'd have to be pretty thick to believe that it's because he actually wants to give them a voice. It's simply because Joe Biden thinks that they owe him a vote.

That's why despite New Hampshire being the first primary in the nation since 1920, Joe Biden is refusing to have it there.

The DNC is proposing a new plan that would take the first primary out of New Hampshire and would put it in South Carolina on February 3. A few days later, on February 6, New Hampshire and Nevada would hold their primaries.

But New Hampshire is not going to take this lying down.

"If South Carolina is scheduled as the first primary, it would be at least seven days before that," said Dave Scanlan. Scanlan is the New Hampshire Secretary of State.

"This is a battleground state, and our state House of Representatives right now is almost equally divided between Republicans and Democrats," Scanlan said. "It’s polarized. And we have some great debates based on political ideology, but I can tell you that there is one issue where the state is united — both Republicans and Democrats — and that is the first in the nation status of the New Hampshire primary."

Joe Biden has said that he would not appear on the ballot if New Hampshire were to take drastic action and hold an unsanctioned primary before the other states are able to sneak in.

It's projected that if Joe Biden is not on the ballot that RFK Jr. would be the leading Democrat in New Hampshire. Marianne Williamson is also considered to be a contender.
