Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) once stood behind former President Donald Trump as he concluded his State of the Union speech and shredded it to pieces for all the cameras to see. 

That particular moment wasn't one of her finest, and even some Democrats were appalled by the toddler-like behavior at the time.

While Pelosi -- like any other run-of-the-mill politician -- claims to be "for the People," it's clear that she's really only for herself and for doing whatever it takes to stay in the good graces of Trump's critics within the Democratic Party.

That was evident once again last week as Pelosi had a much different take on President Joe Biden's State of the Union address, calling it a "masterclass."

What did she say?

While any reasonable, honest person witnessed angry, 81-year-old President Biden stumping for his 2024 presidential campaign instead of delivering an actual State of the Union address, Pelosi, like other Democrats, attempted to gaslight the public into thinking it was something historic and wonderful.

She released a statement on her website heaping praise on Biden's SOTU address.

"President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address was a masterclass, vigorously presenting his bold vision of progress and possibilities for all of America’s families," her statement read.

It added,"“It is fitting that the President opened his remarks with a forceful statement of support for Ukraine and the imperative of defending democracy at home and abroad.  It is inspiring to hear the President share his plans to build on the great American comeback that his leadership has sparked."

The former speaker slipped in a jab against Trump and his supporters.

"President Biden’s hopeful, unifying, forward-looking vision stands in stark contrast with an extreme MAGA agenda that seeks to rip away our freedoms, rig the economy for the ultra-rich and abandon our responsibility to protect and defend," Pelosi wrote.

Delusional

Comically, Pelosi bragged about Biden's "steady hand" and his "beautiful vision" for a better future for Americans.

"America is truly blessed by the wisdom, experience and steady hand of President Joe Biden.  In partnership with Democrats in Congress, let us charge forward toward President Biden’s beautiful vision for a brighter future For The People."

Pelosi doesn't care about the future of Americans and she, like any other Democrat in Congress, understands that people are angry and frustrated with Biden's economy and leadership style. All the polls and approval numbers show it daily.

She's just playing her instructed part in pushing a false narrative that everything is fine and dandy under Biden.
