Report: Meghan Markle has given Prince Harry 'an ultimatum' to patch things up with family
InStyle magazine reported this week that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have not spent the holidays with other members of the British royal family in six years.
However, leaks from those close to the couple suggest that Markle has instructed her husband to fix their disastrous relationship with his family.
Sources say that Markle has given Harry "an ultimatum"
That's according to the Daily Mirror, which cited a source who said that Markle "has distanced herself" from Prince Harry's feud with his elder brother Prince William.
However, the source added that she has since given "Harry an ultimatum" and is "demanding that he do whatever it takes to fix things."
Harry documented his estrangement from William in autobiography "Spare," a fact which "60 Minutes" host Anderson Cooper brought up during an interview last year.
Prince Harry said his brother Prince William told him when they attended the same high school that he should “pretend we don’t know each other.” https://t.co/OnsmQ13eyM pic.twitter.com/3gRzOQKfyN

Among the allegations Harry put forward was that William instructed him to pretend they didn't know one another while both were attending the same school.
Couple angered by "Family Guy" segment which painted an unflattering portrait
What's more, Harry directed unflattering words towards William, highlighting his "familiar scowl," as well as his "alarming baldness" which has grown "more advanced."
Meanwhile, other sources told the Daily Mirror that Markle was put off last year by a segment on the animated comedy program "Family Guy."
The scene showed Markle and her husband relaxing beside a pool as a butler brought them their "millions from Netflix for… no one knows what."
The cartoon version of Harry then tells him to "put it with the rest of them" before Markle remarks, "Babe, time to do our daily $250,000 sponsored Instagram post for Del Taco."
Couple said to be "in full panic mode" over their public image
"What's hit them hardest and cuts the deepest of all is that it plays up the whole notion they're self-entitled grifters or spoilt brats," the Daily Mirror quoted another source as saying.
"Meghan said she won't be humiliated like this and is desperate for a solution. They're in full panic mode," the source went on to add.
While the source stressed that Markle won't be "begging for anything" from Harry's family, she is nevertheless concerned about how "the tides have turned against them in America."
