Two years ago, former President Donald Trump hosted the wedding of one-time White House aide and current Ohio Republican Rep. Max Miller at his golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey.

Yet in a shocking development, the Daily Mail has confirmed that Miller and his wife are now headed towards divorce just ten months after the birth of their daughter.

Miller previously accused of abusing former White House press secretary

The paper noted that the 35-year-old Miller's marriage to 30-year-old Emily Moreno came two years after the end of his relationship with former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham.

Politico reported that Miller had been accused of pushing Grisham up against a wall and slapping her when she accused him of infidelity.

Grisham further asserted that following their breakup, Miller absconded with a French bulldog named Gus he had earlier given to her as a present.

What's more, Miller's alleged conduct was raised in the House of Representatives in December of 2023 after the congressman accused disgraced New York Republican Rep. George Santos of being "a crook."

Congressman's defamation suit against ex-girlfriend was dismissed

The Daily Mail observed that Santos responded by denouncing Miller as "a woman beater," a claim which he and Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz then reiterated in a social media post.

Meanwhile, Miller had previously filed a defamation lawsuit against Grisham, although the case was voluntarily dismissed with prejudice in August of 2023.

Cleveland.com noted that Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Emily Hagan rejected Miller's request for a restraining order to prevent Grisham from repeating the abuse claims she had raised in a Washington Post op-ed piece and a book titled "I'll Take Your Questions Now: What I Saw at the Trump White House.”

Although Miller's name was not used in Grisham's article, he argued that it was nevertheless "widely publicly known" her comments were made about him.

Moreno's father is challenging longtime Ohio Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown

Moreno is the daughter of Ohio Republican Senate candidate Bernie Moreno, who is challenging longtime Democratic incumbent Sherrod Brown.

The Daily Mail observed that Reagan McCarthy serves as the candidate's communications director, and she released a statement regarding his daughter's divorce.

"Bernie is very sad their marriage worked out as it did, but it’s a private family matter and he will not be making any further comments," McCarthy declared.
