RFK's wife, actress Cheryl Hines, 'playing nice' with MAGA guests at Mar-a-Lago
President-elect Donald Trump has dominated headlines over the past week after he began releasing the names of the people who will ultimately run his government, including nominating Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as his HHS secretary.
According to reports, RFK's shift to Trump's side of the aisle hasn't seemed to bother his wife, actress Cheryl Hines, all that much.
The outlet noted that Hines has been spotted on several occasions chatting with folks at Mar-a-Lago, including President Trump. She was seen by several mingling with others who will soon be working in Trump's Cabinet.
Sources familiar with her social activities at a recent gala held at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort reported that she was seen smiling and getting along with those in attendance.
"Playing nice"
The same sources reported that Hines was "playing nice" with those in attendance, adding that she was "talking to everyone," including President-elect Trump.

It was reported that Hines, after her husband switched teams and decided to play for the MAGA side of the aisle, had a difficult time with her husband's decision to back Trump.
"This is a really difficult issue for Cheryl," RFK said at the time.
He added, "This is the opposite of what she would want to do. She went along with it because she loves me, and she wanted to be supportive of me, but it was not something that she ever encouraged. I would say, her trepidation about this and her discomfort with this were the dominant feelings."
Hines isn't super politically active, but is a known liberal in Hollywood circles.
RFK to lead HHS
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) could soon be in much better hands than it currently is under President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris after Trump selected RFK to lead it.
“Americans have been crushed by the industrial food complex and drug companies who have engaged in deception, misinformation, and disinformation," Trump said upon selecting Kennedy for the job.
He added, "Mr Kennedy will restore these Agencies to the traditions of Gold Standard Scientific Research, and beacons of Transparency, to end the Chronic Disease epidemic."
Hopefully, Kennedy will take the bold actions needed to help get America healthy again
