Teamsters union boss slams Tim Walz as 'knucklehead'
For the first time in many cases, a number of several major American unions have decided to opt out of making a presidential endorsement, which is typically bad news for Democratic presidential candidates who can almost always count on them.
In his latest screw-up, according to the New York Post, vice presidential candidate Tim Walz recently took aim at the union leaders who refused to offer an endorsement this election cycle, saying they lack the "courage" to do so.
Needless to say, that did not sit well with some union leaders, including the leader of the powerful Teamsters union, who had an immediate response to Walz's insult.
Teamsters president Sean O’Brien held nothing back in his response to Walz's remarks, causing yet another nightmare for Vice President Kamala Harris and her campaign.
What did he say?
During a recent interview on "The Daily Show," Walz told host Jon Stewart that he believes the union leaders who refused to endorse his campaign or any campaign for that matter, "lack courage."
O'Brien responded to Walz's remarks, using one of the Minnesota governor's own words against him.
"That’s kind of a knucklehead statement — I show courage every day,” O’Brien, 52, told Fox Business Network. "It’s disrespectful to our members and the process."
The Teamsters leader slammed Walz for the way he talks about union members, adding that union members are educated and pointed out that union members believe the Democratic Party looks down on them while at the same time asking for their support.
"He’s talking like an educator, like he’s in a classroom teaching a lesson,”" O’Brien added. "The lesson that needs to be taught is that our members don’t need to be educated — our members are educated. That’s the problem with the Democratic Party right now, is they are looking down on our members."
🚨Wow. Teamsters President Sean O’Brien slams Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for talking down to union members for supporting President Trump:

Don't be surprised to see major unions politically realign in the future and lean toward Republican candidates.
