Former President Donald Trump and former Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) head Elon Musk fell out earlier this year amidst a bitter feud.

Yet a shocking development this past weekend suggested that the two billionaires may be on the verge of reconciling.

Trump and Musk appeared together at memorial service for Charlie Kirk

As Fox Business reported, Trump and Musk were seen seated together at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Sunday.

The pair were both attending a memorial service for conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was gunned down in front of his wife and children while speaking at Utah Valley University nearly two weeks ago.

Fox Business pointed out how Musk also put up a photograph on social media depicting him together with Trump on Sunday along with a caption that read, "For Charlie."

"Charlie was murdered by the Dark for showing people the Light"

Meanwhile, Newsweek noted that Musk provided insight on why he thinks Kirk was assassinated, saying, "Charlie was someone who believed in dialogue and open debate."

Musk recalled how Kirk was known as "a man of ideas" as well as "a man of peace and now he has been murdered in cold blood."

The Tesla CEO further declared that Kirk "was killed because his words made a difference. He was showing people the light, and he was killed by the dark."

Newsweek observed how in an earlier social media post, Musk similarly asserted that "Charlie was murdered by the Dark for showing people the Light."

Musk laments "how much violence there's on the left"

What's more, Sportskeeda highlighted a video clip which showed Musk speaking about Kirk's murder earlier this month with British political activist Tommy Robinson.

In it, Musk could be seen commenting on the public exuberance which many leftists exhibited upon hearing that Kirk had been fatally shot.

"You see how much violence there's on the left with our friend Charlie Kirk getting murdered in cold blood this week and people on the left celebrating it openly, the left is the party of murder and celebrating murder," Musk complained to Robinson.

"Let that sink in for a minute. That's who we're dealing with here. That is who we're dealing with," the tech mogul lamented.
