"You reap what you sow," the old adage goes. Donald Trump is warning Democrats to consider this proverb as they pursue an unprecedented effort to jail the opposition leader on fake charges.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump predicted he will win the presidential election in 2024 - and then "IT WILL BE OUR TURN" to prosecute political opponents.

The warning came as Trump was arraigned Thursday for a "conspiracy" to "overturn" the hotly disputed 2020 election in a politically explosive case from Biden hatchet man Jack Smith.

Political persecution

While Democrats have sought to separate the case from Biden, the Times reported earlier this year that Biden "confided to his inner circle that he believed former President Donald J. Trump was a threat to democracy and should be prosecuted."

Trump is also facing charges from Smith over classified documents and a "hush money" case in New York.

If that wasn't enough, Trump is expected to face a fourth indictment in Georgia any day now.

Some speculate the Democrats' extreme overreach will provoke a backlash from voters. Trump is already leading Biden in several polls, although the cases are proving very costly to Trump's campaign, which has consumed millions of dollars for his legal defense.

"It will be our turn"

Still, Trump is confident his enemies' brutish campaign of persecution won't end the way they expect.

"The Dems don’t want to run against me or they would not be doing this unprecedented weaponization of “Justice.” BUT SOON, IN 2024, IT WILL BE OUR TURN. MAGA!"

While Democrats are publicly gloating, Trump said the relentless barrage of indictments shows that Biden is afraid of losing to Trump in 2024.

"Look, it’s not my fault that my political opponent in the Democrat Party, Crooked Joe Biden, has told his Attorney General to charge the leading (by far!) Republican Nominee & former President of the United States, me, with as many crimes as can be concocted so that he is forced to spend large amounts of time & money to defend himself," Trump wrote.

The latest charges were filed a day after Hunter Biden's former business partner confirmed that Joe Biden was involved in his family's influence-peddling scheme - for which neither Biden nor his son has been charged under applicable laws such as FARA.

Democrats are playing with fire. Not only do they risk being punished by the voters, but they are ensuring that a second-term Trump will show them no mercy.
