Trump's first-year accomplishments surpass the entirety of Biden's four years in office
To hear some delusional Democrats talk, former President Joe Biden's tenure in office was a roaring success full of incredible accomplishments that warrant his inclusion among the nation's greatest past leaders on Mt. Rushmore.
Of course, all of the above is a joke, and in just the first nine months since he took back the White House, President Donald Trump has already far surpassed Biden's purported achievements in several different ways, according to a New York Post op-ed from Victor Davis Hanson.
He makes the case that Trump's many policy victories in less than a year effectively revoke any claim to supposed greatness for Biden's four years by his fellow Democrats and the sycophantic media pundits who've aligned themselves with them.
Comparing Trump to Biden
Hanson's comparison of the current and former presidents began with the southern border, which was wide open and inviting to illegal aliens under Biden but has been slammed shut under Trump, resulting in the most secure border region with the fewest illegal crossings in decades and millions of self-deportations.
He next looked at the decreased costs for energy and gasoline under Trump compared to the high prices under Biden, and how Trump is working to refill the Strategic Petroleum Reserve that Biden attempted to drain, not to mention how the soaring price inflation under Biden has been nearly tamed and brought back to normal levels under Trump, which has set the stage for massive investments and improved economic growth.
Hanson also pointed to military recruitment numbers, which always fell short under Biden but have already exceeded annual goals for all branches under Trump, as well as the increased military spending from nearly all members of NATO.
Relatedly, while multiple new wars erupted around the globe during Biden's tenure in office, Trump has worked to end those and other conflicts with great haste, restoring relative calm in typically restive regions and reimposing American deterrence to achieve peace through strength.
"The daily news is about politicians’ f-bombs, government shutdowns, Trump’s social media trolling, and street violence," Hanson concluded. "But the facts tell a different story of national recovery from the self-inflicted disasters of the recent past."
Trump working to "save America" from Biden's mess
President Trump told a similar story of his own in a Sunday morning Truth Social post, in which he wrote, "Sleepy Joe Biden was, by far, the worst President in American History. Taking office as a result of the most corrupt Election ever seen in the United States, Biden oversaw a series of unprecedented disasters that brought our Nation to the brink of destruction."
The incumbent president mentioned several of the lowlights under his predecessor, including on border security, energy production, foreign affairs, inflation, and the military, and how Biden was "dominated by his radical handlers," who, in conjunction with the "Fake News Media," worked subversively to "cover up his severe mental decline, and his unprecedented use of the Autopen."
"Biden weaponized Law Enforcement against his political opponent, while also persecuting many other innocent people," Trump added. "He left office issuing blanket pardons to Radical Democrat criminals and thugs, as well as members of the Biden Crime Family -- But despite it all, President Trump would get Re-Elected, and SAVE AMERICA!"
No real comparison between the two presidents
There should be little debate that President Trump has taken back the mantle of the most accomplished president of the modern era, though some Americans will continue to reflexively oppose him, while others will struggle to fully grasp or even perceive the impact of his achievements.
In case more tangible evidence is needed, however, the White House helpfully pointed out the fact that Americans are, on average, paying less for their Thanksgiving dinners this year than last or any of the four years that Biden served as president.
Unlike the ridiculously false claims about his predecessor, Trump's second term in office thus far has been an actual roaring success, jam-packed with countless accomplishments and policy wins for not just the Republican president and his party, but for all Americans.
