Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani was recently involved in a terrible car accident that resulted in the former mayor being rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

According to the Daily Mail, just hours before a 19-year-old woman struck the back of Giuliani's rental car and put him in the hospital, he was spotted at a baseball game with his rumored girlfriend.

Local news outlets reported that Giuliani was seen at a New Hampshire Fisher Cats minor league baseball game with alleged girlfriend, nurse-practitioner Maria Ryan, 59.

Rumors have swirled for several years about the relationship between the two, especially after Ryan was spotted with a large engagement ring in 2023.

The rumors of the two dating and getting serious were shot down by spokesman Michael Ragusa, who insisted that the two's relationship is "strictly professional."

"The Mayor and Dr. Ryan share nothing beyond a professional relationship," Ragusa told the outlet.

He added, "Her role is strictly focused on ensuring the Mayor’s health and recovery, drawing on her extensive background in clinical leadership and patient care."

Ragusa doubled down on his insistence that the two are not a romantic couple.

"Any suggestion to the contrary is both unfounded and misleading. Mayor Giuliani and Dr. Ryan remain committed to transparency and professionalism. At this time, their sole focus is on the Mayor’s continued recovery and his return to work serving the American people," he said.

Ragusa has also shut down conspiracy theories that the crash was targeted in any way.

'This was not a targeted attack,' he said on X. 'We ask everyone to respect Mayor Giuliani's privacy and recovery, and refrain from spreading unfounded conspiracy theories.'
