John Fetterman says Biden should 'never capitulate to the fringe'

Hostility towards Israel is growing among Democrats, with some even calling for the Biden administration to cut off arms sales.

One notable exception is Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. John Fetterman, who appears to be leaving his party behind on the issue.

Fetterman says America should "have Israel's back"

As Breitbart pointed out, Fetterman broke with many of his colleagues during an interview on Sunday with CNN host Jake Tapper.

Tapper at one point cited a senior administration official who said President Joe Biden told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin  Netanyahu that America "will not participate in any offensive operations against Iran."

When asked if he is on board with that approach, Fetterman was unequivocal in his response, saying, "I don’t agree with that, I just think we should follow and have Israel's back in the situation. I don’t agree with the president."

Senator insists that Bide should "never capitulate to the fringe"

Fetterman quickly stressed that regards Biden as "a fantastic president," adding, "I'm proud to stand with him and campaign for him and vote for him."

However, he warned that the president should "never capitulate to the fringe" before asserting, "I'll never pander to that as well."

"In fact, that empowers Hamas and Hamas, they’re actually convinced they’re winning the PR war. And they’re never going to negotiate at this point. They think that they’re going to hold onto the very end," Fetterman declared.

This is far from being the first time Fetterman has broken with other Democrats, as earlier this month he called for tougher action against squatters.

"Squatters have no rights"

"Squatters have no rights," he told the New York Post. "How can you even pretend that this is anything other than you're just breaking the law?"

"It's wild that if you go away on a long trip, for 30 days, and someone breaks into your home and suddenly they have rights," he continued.

"This is crazy," the Democrat complained before going on to add, "Like if somebody stole your car, and then they held it for 30 days, then somehow you now have some rights?"

Fetterman explained he is "not woke" and also demanded that repeat offenders like the man who allegedly killed NYPD Detective Jonathan Diller be kept behind bars.

" A free people [claim] their rights, as derived from the laws of nature."
