Tiffany Trump could be key to her father's election success

It now appears that Tiffany Trump could be key to her father's 2024 presidential election success.

According to the Associated Press, Tiffany could help her father to win Michigan. To understand why, please read on.

Many are less familiar with Tiffany than they are with Trump's other children, namely, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, and Barron Trump.

Tiffany is Donald Trump's fourth child, falling in between Eric and Barron. And, Tiffany is the only child whom Trump had with his second wife, Marla Maples.

Here is why Tiffany could be the key to winning Michigan:

The short answer is that Tiffany Trump has connections that could help her father to gain favor among certain Michigan voters.

"One of Donald Trump’s emissaries to Arab Americans is a Lebanese-born businessman who moved to Texas as a teenager, speaks Arabic, English and French, and recently joined the Trump family when his son married the former president’s younger daughter," the Associated Press reports.

It adds, "Massad Boulos has taken on the challenge of trying to convince a politically influential community angry at President Joe Biden that Trump is a better option."

They are angry at Biden, of course, because of his support of Israel in the Israel-Palestine conflict. The reader may remember that there were calls, during the Michigan primary in February, for pro-Palestine voters in the area to abandon Biden, and many did.

Political experts have suggested that Biden could lose a significant percentage of America's pro-Palestinian population, enough to potentially ruin his ability to win reelection.

Here's the potential problem with this idea:

It is that Trump has been supportive of Israel.

As the Associate Press puts it, "[M]any Arab Americans also note Trump has positioned himself as more pro-Israel than Biden and has made a series of comments and policy announcements that critics blast as Islamophobic."

The Associated Press further reports:

Several of the people who have met with Boulos also point to Trump’s statements about Arabs and Muslims. While president, Trump banned immigration from several majority-Muslim countries and questioned the loyalty of Muslim lawmakers serving in Congress. Now, as he campaigns for a second term after losing in 2020, Trump has at times criticized Biden for being insufficiently supportive of Israel and has threatened to deport pro-Palestinian protesters he labels as supporters of Hamas.

The bottom line is that it is not exactly going to be easy for Boulos to convince the pro-Palestinian population in Michigan to vote for Trump, but he has made it clear he is going to try to do so.

We'll just have to see how this plays out.
