Fox News's David Marcus recently outlined the offer that he believes Democratic Party leaders have presented to President Joe Biden. 

Marcus did so in a piece, titled, Democrat godfathers make Biden offer they hope he can't refuse. 

This comes as Biden continues to face growing calls - from within the Democratic Party - for him to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race. The calls now include some of the party's top leaders, including U.S. House Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and former President Barack Obama.

Biden, though, at the time of the writing, is still refusing to step aside.

The offer

Marcus, in his article, describes what he believes to be taking place behind the scenes.

"For the bosses of the Democrat family, ending Biden’s political career is a three-step process. First, they ask him to leave, then they tell him to leave, and, finally, they threaten to destroy him if he won't wise up. We are almost at step three," he writes.

Marcus goes on to explain that recent events clearly suggest that we are in stage two of this process. He points, for example, to the recent "threats from the editorial boards of The New York Times and Chicago Tribune," whom Marcus describes as "the consiglieres of the Democratic Party."

Marcus also notes that Obama has already told Biden, "that’s a nice legacy you got there. It'd be a shame if something happened to it."

Yet, Biden is refusing to give in. Marcus writes that Biden, "for some reason, thinks he's in charge," when this clearly is not the case.

Stage three is imminent

Marcus finishes up his piece by arguing that the Democrats are on the verge of moving onto stage three, that is, "they threaten to destroy [Biden] if he won't wise up."

"Now Biden seems poised to wake up with a bloody equine head in his bed, and the Democrats have no shortage of horses to choose from," he writes.

Marcus then goes on to highlight several pieces of evidence that the Democratic Leaders might turn to in order to force Biden to step aside. This includes Biden's yet-to-be-released interview with special counsel Hur.

Marcus also suggests that there is a possibility that Biden may try to fight back by released damning evidence about some of the Democrats who are trying to force him out. Many believe that the Biden family would not hesitate to do so.

We'll have to see how this all plays out. The rumor is that something big could be imminent.
