The anti-Israel protests breaking out across the country at some of the nation's most prestigious universities full of the rich elites' entitled, ignorant children are becoming a serious issue.

According to Fox News, during one of the anti-Israel protests recently held at the University of Southern California (USC), a CNN reporter was forced to cut his report on the protests short for fear of the crowd becoming increasingly more violent.

Security and local police forces have had their hands full in recent days as the protests exponentially increase in size at a growing list of educational institutions.

The number of arrests has skyrocketed over the past week, and the protests are even causing disruptions and cancellations of major events, like some of the commencement ceremonies.

What happened?

CNN National Correspondent Nick Watt found out the hard way that not even a reporter from the ultra-left CNN is immune to potential violence from radical, leftwing anti-Semitic protesters.

Watt admitted during his live report that some of the protesters had attempted to "intimidate" his crew, and also noted that the atmosphere was becoming "unpleasant."

At one point, one of the protesters was filming Watt. The CNN reporter demanded that the protester show his face.

"Show your face," Watt said to the individual wearing a face covering. "Show your face. Show your face. Why are you scared to show your face?"

He went on to report that the university called police to help control the situation, which was clearly spiraling out of control. Police arrived and told the protesters that they had 10 minutes to disperse. Some of them did, and many others defied the orders and linked arms, which led to many arrests.

Cut it short for safety

Watt finally admitted that he had to end the report early due to the chaotic scene.

"Anyway, I think we should probably go because it's getting a little nasty here," Watt said. "More than 50 people arrested. You know, back to you guys, we need to go."

USC later announced that its campus would be closed "until further notice" in the wake of the nasty protest.

Similar situations are developing each day across the country.
