CNN slams Biden for his treatment of a reporter

 June 15, 2024

The far-left outlet CNN, of all places, just criticized President Joe Biden for his treatment of a reporter.

CNN, according to Fox News, was commenting on an incident that occurred on Thursday at the G-7 press conference that was held by Biden and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Here's what happened:

Biden, during a back-and-forth with the press, answered a series of questions about various topics, including questions relating to Ukraine's ongoing war with Russia and questions related to Hunter Biden's criminal trials.

But, one topic, in particular, seemed to really strike a nerve with Biden.

What got under Biden's skin was a question from a reporter about the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas. Biden actually snapped at the reporter who asked it.

He said, "I wish you guys would play by the rules a little bit. I'm here to talk about a critical situation in Ukraine. You're asking another subject."

CNN objects

The surprising thing about this story is not that Biden snapped at another reporter, it is that CNN actually criticized Biden for his lack of transparency with the press.

Fox reports:

Co-host Brianna Keilar [said] "[Biden has] been snippy recently about being asked multiple questions in these press conferences."After clarifying she and her co-host have served as White House correspondents, Keilar argued the types of questions asked of Biden "are very limited. They‘re called ‘2-and-2’s’ and the reporters tend to—there‘s a tradition of asking more than the questions, that‘s just pretty usual because there are not that many questions to ask."

Keilar actually went on to say that Biden "falls far below his predecessors when it comes to interviews and when it comes to press conferences, we just need to be clear about that."

Presumably, this would also mean that Keilar believes that Biden "falls far below" former President Donald Trump when it comes to press interactions.

It wasn't the only incident of its kind

The Daily Mail reports that Biden snapped at another reporter on Thursday. And, once again, it was over questions about Israel's war on Hamas.

Here, the president, according to the outlet, even threatened to throw the reporter's phone.

"‘I know you’re a typical press guy, you’re grabbing me in front of all this … but I trust you about as far as I can throw your phone. I have a good arm man. I can throw a long way," Biden said.

Apparently, the Israel-Hamas war is a real sore spot for Biden.
