Former Planned Parenthood official commits suicide following child porn raid

Planned Parenthood has often boasted of being "proud to provide abortion" along with what it calls "gender affirming care."

While many liberals regard the organization as heroic, one of its former directors recently killed himself just as investigators were closing in.

Man was expected to be arrested on child pornography charges

According to the Daily Wire, 35-year-old Tim Yergeau's dead body was discovered in his New Haven, Connecticut home last Tuesday.

The cause of Yergeau's death appears to have been suicide, and it came less than a week after police raided his home in search of child pornography.

"The person who died was definitely the suspect in a child pornography investigation and the person who committed suicide," New Haven Police Chief Karl Jacobson told The Middletown Press.

"It was an open investigation, so he knew he was going to be arrested," The New Haven Independent quoted Jacobson as adding.

Yergeau said he was "passionate" about left-wing causes

The Daily Wire cited a Blaze article that reported that Yergeau previously served as director of strategic communications for the Planned Parenthood of Southern New England.

He also worked for the New Haven Free Public Library Foundation and was employed by the Long Wharf Theatre at the time of his death.

Yergeau celebrated getting hired by Planned Parenthood in an Instagram post put up in December of 2018 which read, "Excited to announce that today I start a new job on the marketing/communications team at Planned Parenthood of Southern New England."

"Excited to be working on issues I’m passionate about: healthcare access, reproductive and sexual health, diversity and inclusion, civic engagement, and voting rights," he added.

Planned Parenthood sued over alleged rape cover-up

Yergeau's social media profile is festooned with pro-abortion and pro-LGBTQ material. Examples include a picture of Planned Parenthood's logo decorated with a rainbow as well as a t-shirt with the slogan "Bans Off Our Bodies" printed on it.

Planned Parenthood has been accused of helping child sexual predators to abort the evidence of their crimes. The Washington Times reported in 2013 that Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains chose to settle a lawsuit brought by a 13-year-old and her mother who said it helped hide her rape.

Meanwhile, the pro-life group Live Action has produced undercover video footage in which Planned Parenthood staff could be heard offering to provide cover-up abortions.
