In the wake of President Joe Biden's disastrous debate with former President Donald Trump, observers have noticed something odd regarding Hunter Biden, the embattled son of the current president. 

According to the Washington Examiner, Hunter Biden has been spotted sitting in on meetings in the White House with his elderly, often-confused father, and a growing number of congressmen want to know why.

The primary concern, according to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner (R-OH), is whether or not Hunter Biden has been privvy to any classified information.

The Oklahoma congressman wrote a letter to White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients in an effort to answer that question.

What's going on?

Rep. Turner is requesting "full accounting of any classified information discussed or disclosed in these meetings," according to the contents of the letter.

Turner noted that Hunter Biden's sudden and frequent visits to the White House even caught members of the Biden-friendly liberal media off-guard.

"According to news reporting, the President’s son’s sudden presence at official meetings has caused confusion for some White House staff, prompting a reaction of ‘What the hell is happening?'" Turner's letter read.

The Oklahoma Republican wrote about the situation on his X account, writing, "Is Hunter Biden receiving classified information at the White House? Today, I sent a letter to White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients demanding answers about Hunter Biden’s attendance at official White House meetings."

The White House confirmed that Hunter Biden had joined his father for several meetings.

Disturbing development

Turner held nothing back as he raised questions regarding why Hunter Biden is all of a sudden much more involved in his father's White House business.

"It is unclear what official meetings and phone calls Hunter Biden is participating in and in what capacity and whether these discussions include classified information," Turner wrote.

He added, "An immediate response is requested, please notify the Committee of the official meetings Hunter Biden is participating in, and if classified information is being disclosed now that Hunter Biden is allegedly taking meetings with the President."

The White House  has attempted to downplay the situation, but clearly that will not suffice.
