Barack Obama and Joe Biden met for a pals' lunch at the White House on Tuesday, raising speculation about the purpose of the meeting.

The Biden administration did not go into detail, saying there was "no specific agenda," but it comes as Biden is ramping up a re-election effort that is showing vulnerable points.

The White House' slow-witted press secretary was similarly cryptic when the two talked over the phone earlier this month.

“No particular — no specific, particular reasoning,” Karine Jean-Pierre said.

“And I know sometimes people ask when they speak … Not going to get into it from here. I’m sure we will be — we will hear more on what those other topics are. You know, the President — President Obama has been here a couple times.”

Obama whips support

Obama told CNN in a new interview that he believes "the Democratic party is unified" behind Biden, which coming from Obama, is as good as a command.

“I do not think that there’s going to be any kind of serious primary challenge to Joe Biden,” he said.

The Democrats have been rallying behind the 80-year-old president, despite his obvious age issues and the scandal of his family's influence peddling scheme, the details of which are continuing to unravel.

Obama endorsed Biden with notorious reluctance in 2020, and he has continued to support him as the threat of Donald Trump returning to power looms.

Recent polls have Biden falling behind Trump, despite the refusal of the press to seriously scrutinize Biden.

"Democracy" defender

Trump's persistence in the arena has left Obama to play the role of self-appointed spokesman for "our democracy,"

The former "divider in chief" hasn't been shy about weighing in on the politically explosive arrest of Trump on federal charges. According to Obama, Biden arresting his top political rival is just proof the "rule of law" still works in America.

“But the fact that we have a former president who is having to answer to charges brought by prosecutors does uphold the basic notion that nobody’s above the law and the allegations will now be sorted out through a court process," Obama told CNN.

What are Obama and Biden talking about? It's safe to assume the media isn't interested in finding out.
