During her time as first lady, Michelle Obama was known for her Let's Move! campaign, which was aimed at promoting healthy behavior among children and teens.
That message appears not to have resonated with her daughters, however, as both have been photographed smoking in recent weeks.
According to Page Six, Malia Obama was seen with a cigarette outside of a Los Angeles convenience store this past Wednesday.

Malia Obama also generated headlines in 2016 when she was caught smoking what appeared to be a joint while attending the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago.

Meanwhile, her sister Sasha Obama was also seen smoking a cigarette following a Labor Day party in Los Angeles last month.

Those reports come amid growing speculation that Malia and Sasha Obama's mother may follow in their father's footsteps and launch a presidential run.
Proponents of that theory include Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, who discussed it last month during an episode of his podcast "Verdict with Ted Cruz."
"Here's the scenario that I think is perhaps the most likely and most dangerous," Cruz told his listeners. "In August of 2024, the Democrat kingmakers [will] jettison Joe Biden and parachute in Michelle Obama."
NEW: Senator Ted Cruz believes Biden will *not* be the 2024 Democrat candidate & thinks the Democrats will "parachute" in... wait for it...

"And I think in terms of a solution that unifies Democrats, there ain't nothing like that," the Republican lawmaker went on to declare.
While former President Barack Obama recently declined to address questions about whether his wife has political ambitions, The Hill noted in an article published last month that she has repeatedly denied having any interest in running for public office.
