Famed, iconic movie star Pamela Salem has died at the age of 80.

Salem was maybe most known for her role as Bond girl “Miss Moneypenny,” in the 80s James Bond film “Never Say Never Again” starring Sean Connery.

She also appeared in “Dr. Who,” and had a handful of audio productions.

The cause of Salem’s death has not been released at this time.

Her audio production company, Big Finish Productions, released a statement upon learning of Salem’s death.

The statement contained sentiments from many of Salem’s peers and professional acquaintances.

They all shared beautiful thoughts on what it was like to work with and to know the famous Bond girl.

“Whenever there was a Big Finish recording for her, she’d fly in from Miami on her own steam, without fuss or fanfare, and appear at the studio armed with the warmest smiles, the biggest hugs and often presents,” David Richardson, a producer, said in the post.

The statement did not stop there.

The post also contained words from director Ken Bentley that may bring tears to your eyes, whether you knew of Pamela Salem or not.

“Every time Pamela walked into the studio she brought the Florida sunshine with her. She was such great company, always smiling, with so much enthusiasm for the small things in life that bring us all joy, like walking your dog along the beach. She had many gifts but her superpower was her ability to single-handedly restore your faith in human nature,” Bentley said.

What a statement it truly is that even when you have massive accomplishments your peers could discuss, the topic of conversation is your kind heart, joyous spirit, and warm smile.

Salem was truly someone who had life figured out.

The light that she brought to those around her is proof of that.

While we may not know the cause of Pamela Salem’s death, we know that she lived a life most can only dream of.

She accomplished so much in her 80 years on this earth and also made a difference to those around her.

Salem will truly be missed by her friends, family, and coworkers.
