Trump comeback highlights his son Barron's transformation
Donald Trump's stunning re-election victory has drawn attention to the role played by his 18-year-old son, Barron, and his dramatic transformation from eight years ago when Donald first ran for office.
Barron towered over his beaming father during his victory speech in the early morning after Election Night, leaving many stunned at how much Barron has grown since 2016.
Barron's amazing transformation
Now said to stand at 6'9", Barron is looking like a young version of his father, suit and all.
The normally stoic son of Donald and Melania Trump was seen smiling at his father's victory party in the early morning of November 6.
Despite everything else going on this election, the biggest thing that hit me when I saw #Trump walk onstage for his victory speech is how much his son Barron's grown since 2016. #USA #ElectionNight #ThenAndNow

Throughout the 2024 campaign, Donald repeatedly credited Barron with helping him with Generation Z outreach. President-elect Trump's success in the election has been attributed in part to interviews with podcasters popular with young men, such as Joe Rogan.
“I want to thank the American people for the extraordinary honor of being elected your 47th president and your 45th president,” Donald said in his victory speech on Nov. 6.
"This was a movement like no one has ever seen before. Frankly, I believe this was the greatest political movement of all time.”
"Very wise"
For most of his young life, Barron's mother Melania has kept him out of the public eye, but the youngest child of Donald Trump continues to be the topic of public discussion.
The 18-year-old recently started his freshman year of college at New York University, where he is studying business. Barron is currently living at his father's former longtime residence of Trump Tower, New York, while he attends school.
He lived in the White House during his father's first term, before moving with the Trump family to Palm Beach, Florida.
While seldom seen or heard, Barron has exerted a quiet influence over his father, who shared some "very wise" advice his son gave him with a crowd in North Carolina on his last day of campaigning.
"Dad: take it easy, now. You just take it easy Dad, alright? You don't have to go too much here," Trump told the crowd. "He's very wise."
