Wrestling superstar Bray Wyatt dies of a heart attack at 36

Professional wrestling fans were left in mourning this week to learn that WWE superstar Bray Wyatt passed away at the age of 36. 

Yahoo! Sports reported that Wyatt, who was born Windham Rotunda, suffered a fatal heart attack on Thursday. He is said to have had pre-existing health problems which were "exacerbated" by a recent case of COVID-19.

Wyatt came from a wrestling family

Yahoo! Sports noted that Wyatt came from a wrestling family and began his career in Florida Championship Wrestling under the name "Husky Harris."

Tributes to Wyatt quickly appeared on social media, including from his former employer, which extended its "condolences to Rotunda’s family, friends and fans."

Colleagues get tattoos in Wyatt's honor

The following day, WWE also put out footage featuring other wrestlers sharing their memories of Wyatt.

Wrestling podcast host Joey Karni tweeted out footage of wrestlers Braun Strowman, Karrion Kross, and Shotzi getting tattoos in honor of Wyatt.

Chris Jericho leads concertgoers in Wyatt tribute

The Twitter account Wrestle Ops posted footage of professional wrestler and rock musician Chris Jericho remembering Wyatt at a concert.

Meanwhile, fellow professional wrestler Jessi Davin tweeted out a clip of Wyatt appearing on the weather report of a local news station.
