Former President Donald Trump recently weighed in on the strange incident that happened to President Joe Biden during his recent trip to France.

The Daily Mail reports that Trump did so on Thursday, during a TikTok interview with Turning Point USA's Charlie Kirk.

In the video, Kirk asks Trump what he thinks happened to Biden.

Trump said, "He goes over to France, and something happened, and it's not good. I don't know what it is."

Background

The incident that Trump is referring to took place on Thursday, when Biden visited France to take part in a ceremony to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

Take a look:

In the above video, Biden can be seen on stage alongside First Lady Jill Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron. The video begins with Biden awkwardly shaking Macron's hand, and it was after this that a truly weird incident occurred.

While everyone else clearly remains standing, Biden goes to try to sit down, and he stays in that position, halfway between standing and sitting, for some time. Then, Jill Biden, who is standing right beside him, can be seen putting her hand up to her mouth as if to scratch her face. It is unclear whether or not she said anything to Joe.

But, the whole thing was extremely awkward, and it has garnered a lot of attention. Republicans argue that this is the latest example of Biden's "perpetual state of confusion."

There's more

Unfortunately for Biden, this was far from his only mishap in France.

Fox reports:

Another video showed Biden walking off with his wife, Jill, as the president of France, Emmanuel Macron, continued to greet and chat with World War II veterans. In a hot mic moment, Biden appeared to say to Macron, "My advance team said I gotta be the first one to leave," in another video capturing the interaction.

This "hot mic" video can be found here.

This has left many wondering why is it that the current president of the United States could not stick around, with the president of France, to do a meet and greet with World War II veterans. Surely, this is the normal sort of thing that a president would be expected to do. So, why didn't Biden do it - why did he have to take off in such a hurry?

We'll leave those questions for you, the reader, to answer. But, overall, it was another disastrous outing for Biden.
