Conservatives have long complained that President-elect Donald Trump has faced intense bias on the part of mainstream media outlets along with tech companies.

That allegation was recently echoed by podcast host Joe Rogan, who argued that Trump has been the target of a "psyop."

Rogan: "They've decided to distort people’s perceptions of things"

According to Fox News, Rogan made the claim earlier this week during an episode of his podcast that featured comedians Shane Gillis, Mark Normans, and Ari Shaffir.

"What you’re seeing with Trump, regardless of his flaws, is a massive concentrated psyop. They’ve distorted who he is to the point where most people think that way. Most people think that way. They’ve had narratives," Rogan said of media figures.

When Normand asked what the term "psyop" means, Rogan described it as a "psychological operation" in which "they've decided to distort people’s perceptions of things."

What's more, the host then went on to recall how former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton once held positions similar to those of Trump when it came to matters of border security.

Elon Musk agrees that effort to smear Trump is "coordinated"

"Hillary Clinton was more MAGA than Trump," Rogan asserted before adding, "It’s all a f--king illusion. It’s all a f--king illusion. All of them, when convenient, have said the exact same things."

Social media mogul Elon Musk expressed agreement with Rogan's position by posting a clip of his remarks and writing, "It was a coordinated [p]sychological operation."

Meanwhile, Breitbart recently cited evidence to support the idea that Trump was the victim of a coordinated attack by pointing to the video sharing platform known as YouTube.

YouTube buried Trump's pre-election interview with Rogan

It noted how YouTube chose to bury the three-hour-long interview that Trump had with Rogan shortly before Election Day

"On Monday night, Breitbart News searched 'Rogan Trump' in the YouTube search bar, which returned results for videos about the podcast episode and other similar political videos — but not the actual interview itself," Breitbart observed.

"Similar searches, including the full names of both Rogan and the former president had similar results," the conservative website pointed out.

"In our test, Breitbart News scrolled down the YouTube page to review more than 50 videos and did not successfully find Rogan's interview with Trump on Friday’s episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience," it added.
