Sean Spicer says to expect big things from Trump admin 2.0

Sean Spicer, President Donald Trump's former press secretary, says that we should expect big things from Trump's second administration.

Spicer said as much during a recent interview with The Sun. The contents of that interview can be found here.

Spicer will not be Trump's press secretary this time around. Rather, that position will be filled by Karoline Leavitt.

Chances are that even if you do not know Leavitt by name you know her by face. This is because she played a large role in Trump's 2024 presidential campaign, and, now, she is about to play a large role in his administration.

Spicer's take

Spicer is predicting that Trump's inaugural speech will be very different from the one he gave eight years ago in 2017.

He said:

I think it's going to be a very different speech than it was in 2017. I expect it to be a lot more optimistic, a lot more forward-looking. The president, my guess, is going to be a lot more focused on the accomplishments that he really wants to get done in the second term and, to some degree, on his legacy.

Indeed, you do not need to be a Trump insider to figure this much out. Trump himself has made it perfectly clear to the public that he intends on spending just about all of his energy on fixing this country.

According to Spicer, the chances are that Trump is going to have more success this time around, for now he knows how Washington, D.C., works. And, not only that, but Trump has had four years to strategize.

Spicer said:

When you're out, you have an opportunity to reflect a lot more, to think about what you want to accomplish, but also how to accomplish it. And so it's not just aspirational, here's what I wanna do. You have a much better sense of what you can do and how to do it. “He's had time to actually think and digest ‘what did I do in my first term? What didn't I get done? What do I really want to focus on?’

Looking forward:

Spicer is one of those individuals who predicted that Trump would be signing over 100 executive orders during his first day or so in office.

It appears that Spicer and others are going to be right about this.

Breitbart news reports:

President-elect Donald Trump is preparing to sign over 200 executive orders as soon as he reaches the Oval Office after Inauguration — just as Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large Joel B. Pollak suggested in his book, The Agenda.

In the coming days, we will get a better look at what these orders contain.

There is little doubt that many of them will simply be undoing actions taken by the Biden administration.
