NEA admits ICE hasn't targeted a single student in any school across America, despite leftist fearmongering

Democrats and leftists are working overtime to fearmonger the population, including children, regarding President Donald Trump's immigration policies.

Many on the left have pushed a false narrative that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers are cracking down on K-12 schools, but according to reports, not a single illegal child has been pulled from a school, despite attempts to make it seem that way.

Schools in many "sanctuary" cities have even gone as far as canceling classes over false fears that ICE raids could result in children being taken out of the classroom.

But it's all a show. It's not only disgusting as an act, but it's even worse considering that its scaring children.

What's going on?

There's been an intense push by the National Education Association (NEA), which represents some 3 million educators, parents, and students, to inform illegal immigrant parents and children of their rights. The group has also pushed for schools to adopt "safe zone" policies.

However, the NEA was forced to admit that, so far, there hasn't been a single incident of ICE raiding a school and pulling illegal alien children from the classroom.

The outlet noted:

Despite an all-out effort by concerned parents and teachers to secure schools, the NEA told the Washington Examiner that it was not aware of any incidents in which ICE pulled a student from school.

A spokeswoman for the National Association of Elementary School Principals confirmed NEA's observation.

NAESP spokeswoman Kaylen Tucker confirmed that no such incidents have occurred, saying in an emailed statement, "I haven't heard of any examples of this scenario from our member principals."

The the Los Angeles Unified School District, which is the second largest school district in the nation, released a statement confirming that nothing had happened at any of its schools.

"The District has established protocols for responding to immigration personnel requests for information about students, families, and staff and has trained staff in how to respond if federal immigration officers appear at or nearby schools," it said, adding that the district "had no ICE activity on our campuses."

What sparked the fearmongering?

Upon entering office, Trump, as a part of signing dozens of executive orders erasing the disastrous Biden-era immigration policy, rescinded one that barred the feds from "sensitive" areas, including churches, hospitals, and schools.

The order sparked backlash from many immigration groups and organizations, including the National Immigration Law Center.

"In the wake of a litany of cruel executive orders targeting immigrants — and sanctuary policies — the rescission is especially pernicious in its attempt to make immigrants feel unsafe even in spaces that are the core of a civil society," the NILC said in a statement at the time.

Keeping children out of schools because of leftist propaganda is hurting the student more than anything. How silly.
