Barron Trump is behind his father's podcast successes

Former President Donald Trump owes his recent podcast success to his son Barron Trump.

This is according to a new report from Politico.

This report comes as Trump just appeared on Joe Rogan's incredibly popular podcast for a three-hour talk. It has already, at the time of the writing, proved to be incredibly successful, achieving over 20 million view in less than two days.

Many believe that this could catapult Trump to success in the 2024 presidential election, including by winning over many young voters.

It's Barron

If you have been following Trump's campaign, then you know that, in recent months, seemingly out of nowhere, Trump has started appearing on a number of big podcasts - podcasts that are extremely popular with the younger generation.

USA Today, for example, reports:

Trump has made appearances in other podcasts throughout the campaign trail, such as Theo Von’s “This Past Weekend,” as the Republican presidential candidate looks to increase his lead among male voters. Trump has also made appearances on the show “Full Send,” hosted by the pro-Trump NELK boys (short for Nick, Elliot, Lucas, and Kyle).

Every appearance has been a success for Trump, and it is looking as though Trump's appearance on Rogan's podcast might just be the most successful one of all.

Trump's opponent in the 2024 presidential election, Vice President Kamala Harris, has been trying to keep up with a number of podcast appearances of her own, but they have been nowhere near as successful.

Not only that, but it now appears that Harris will not be appearing on Rogan's podcast, which could prove to be a big blow for her campaign - although many argue that she likely would have only hurt herself with such an appearance.

What is the cause?

The question that has been asked by many is who is behind Trump's decision to appear on these non-traditional podcasts. And, the answer, according to Politico, seems to, at least in part, Barron Trump - the former president's youngest son.

Politico reports:

As for who gets credit for which podcasts the presidential candidate goes on, [Trump advisor Jason] Miller, a longtime Trump loyalist, said it’s been a group effort on the campaign but gave a special shoutout to Trump’s 18-year-old son, Barron.

The outlet went on to quote Miller.

"Hats off to the young man. Every single recommendation he’s had has turned out to be absolute ratings gold that’s broken the Internet," he said.

There have been reports that Barron Trump is looking to follow in his father's political footsteps. At the moment, though, he is focusing on school. He is attending New York University.
