Bragg Committed 'Misconduct' Via Contradictory Treatment Of Cohen, Weisselberg

Donald Trump has been blowing the corruption horn for a while, but Alvin Bragg's case against him was still allowed to go on for some reason.

Now, Donald's prediction has come true.

Bragg's proving he's corrupt.

Trump's team thinks that you only have to look at the way Michael Cohen was treated by Bragg and compare it to the way Allen Weisselberg, Trump's longtime financial gatekeeper, was treated.

Donald's attorney Todd Blanche left no opportunity for confusion when he accused Bragg of "ongoing prosecutorial misconduct" in his hush money case against Donald Trump.

Blanche is arguing that Bragg's office turned "a blind eye to the admitted and repeated perjury" of Michael Cohen, but not given Weisselberg the same grace.

In fact, Blanche argues that Weisselberg only pled guilty in his case because of the "vindictive and oppressive pressure and plea negotiations."

If it's true that similar pressure was not put on Michael Cohen, then I think Blanche may very well have a point.

America's liberals are corrupt.

"Alvin Bragg's conscious choice to ignore obvious and admitted criminal conduct by Cohen and to instead deploy unethical, strong-armed tactics against an innocent man in his late 70s underscores the irresponsibility of your conduct in office," Blanche wrote recently.

"Indeed, while you waste public resources in a desperate attempt to impede President Trump’s ongoing ascent to the White House, in violation of applicable prosecutorial guidelines prohibiting such election interference, you regularly and repeatedly allow those guilty of brutal attacks on law enforcement and murderers to roam free."

Blanche continued his argument in a letter that he sent to Bragg's office, saying that "these issues demand careful consideration because of the legal, ethical, and constitutional issues they implicate. We again urge you to reconsider your positions regarding Cohen and Mr. Weisselberg and put an end to the selective and oppressive misconduct of your office."

Trump's lawyers are now using Cohen's testimony in an effort to block him from testifying in the upcoming hush money trial.

"He recently committed perjury, on the stand and under oath, at a civil trial involving President Trump. If his public statements are any indication, he plans to do so again at this criminal trial. The Court should preclude Cohen’s testimony in order to protect the integrity of this Court and the process of justice," Trump's lawyers said.
