Dr. Gal Luft, the "missing" Biden family whistleblower, was indicted by the Department of Justice for neglecting to register as a foreign agent of CEFC China Energy Co, the same company for which Hunter Biden worked, as Breitbart News reported.

Luft, who claims to be a scapegoat, is a fugitive since he skipped bond in April in Cyprus while awaiting extradition. Authorities charged Luft with conspiracy to sell Chinese arms to the United Arab Emirates, Kenya, and Libya, violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), and making a false statement.

Luft claims he gave the FBI and DOJ incriminating evidence of Biden family misconduct regarding CEFC during a March 2019 meeting in Brussels. He claims that U.S. authorities concealed the interview.

The Indictment

Page 21 of the indictment indicates that the Justice Department filed multiple allegations against Luft on Monday, including a violation of FARA for failing to register as a foreign agent of CEFC:

GAL LUFT, the defendant, and others known and unknown, at least one of whom is expected to be brought to and arrested in the Southern District of New York, willfully and knowingly did combine, conspire, confederate, and agree together and with each other to commit an offense against the United States, to wit, to knowingly and willfully act as an agent of a foreign principal, namely, CEFC, CEFC China, and CC-1, without registering with the Attorney General, in violation of FARA, 22 U.S.C. §§ 612 and 618.

Hunter Biden collaborated with CEFC. In 2017, the "chairman" of CEFC, Ye Jianming, paid Hunter Biden a retainer charge of $1 million for legal services.

In February of 2017, Ye also presented Hunter with a large diamond worth an estimated $80,000.

House Republicans obtained suspicious activity reports indicating that Hunter Biden's business associate Rob Walker received a $3 million wire transfer from CEFC in 2017.

Who Was Involved

Four members of the Biden family—Hunter, James, Hallie, and an unidentified "Biden"—received a total of $1.3 million from the $3 million wire transfer.

Additionally, Breitbart News reported that within days of Hunter Biden's WhatsApp messages to CEFC, the Biden family business received a total of $5,1 million through multiple accounts.

Shortly after demanding payment from a CEFC associate while President Joe Biden was "sitting" next to him, Hunter Biden asked Gongwen "Kevin" Dong, a second CEFC business associate, for $10 million via WhatsApp, remarking that the Biden family is best at "doing exactly what the chairman wants."

"Very simple," wrote Hunter. “10 M per annum budget to use to further the interest of the JV. This move to 5M is completely new to me and is not acceptable obviously.”

“If you think this is about money it’s not,” Hunter continued. “The Bidens are the best I know at doing exactly what the chairman wants from this partnership … let’s not quibble over peanuts.”

The Biden family's venture with CEFC is most well-known for "10 held by H for the big guy." James Biden, whistleblower Tony Bobulinski, and Jim Bulger were also affiliated with the CEFC venture.
