'Either Joe or Hunter': Trump wants White House cocaine truth
In an interview that was published on Friday, President Donald Trump expressed his belief that a member of the Biden family was responsible for leaving a container of cocaine in the White House in July 2023.
Trump informed The Spectator World that he is of the opinion that "either [former President] Joe [Biden] or Hunter" Biden is accountable, despite the fact that an official determination was never disclosed to the public, as Fox News reported.
The discovery of cocaine in the West Wing of the White House rapidly became a national scandal, and with good reason.
National news was aflutter with speculation rife as to who had left the drugs inside one of the most secure buildings in the world.
From Trump
During the recent interview, Trump was questioned about the issue: “So … who actually left the cocaine in the White House?” Ben Domenech, the interviewer for The Spectator World, asked Trump.
“Well, either Joe or Hunter. Could be Joe, too. OK, so that was such a terrible thing because, you know, those bins are very loaded up with … they’re not clean, and they have hundreds and even thousands of fingerprints,” Trump answered.
“And when they went to look at it, it was absolutely stone cold, wiped dry. You know that, right?”
Details of the Find
ABC News reports that the "bins" Trump is referring to are small receptacles located near a West Wing entrance frequently utilized by visitors.
Visitors are advised to store personal items in the small lockers while touring. The cocaine was uncovered in one of these "bins."
The cocaine was discovered by Secret Service agents on July 2, 2023, and they initially suspected it to be anthrax. Because of that concern, the West Wing was evacuated.
After conducting additional testing, law enforcement ultimately determined that the substance in question was cocaine.
More Questions
Speaking to the location of the find, Domenech said, “See? Well, because, I mean, I was briefly a Bush speechwriter. And so I knew exactly what they were talking about. And I was like, ‘those things are filthy.’ They’re filthy."
Trump responded, saying “And there were fingerprints. I mean, if you went to one, maybe we’re cleaner, but if you went to one at any time, you would see hundreds.
“Everybody in there would leave a fingerprint when they went in and that thing was wiped out with, with the strongest form of alcohol.”
Hunter's History
Hunter Biden has previously grappled with addiction, and numerous observers have speculated that his history of substance abuse and his brief tenure at the White House prior to the discovery renders him a potential suspect.
Nevertheless, Trump is eager to identify the individual who is accountable.
“By the way, and I have to tell you, I think I’m going to look into that because it was … bad stuff happened there,” Trump told Domenech.
