Missouri's Cori Bush has lost her primary, in another sobering blow for the far-left "Squad."

The radical progressive - known for her ties to "defund the police" and Black Lives Matter - lost by double-digits Tuesday to St. Louis Prosecuting Attorney Wesley Bell.

Bush's defeat in Missouri's First District is the second gut punch for the so-called "Squad," after New York's Jamaal Bowman lost a primary in June.

Bush loses re-election

Like Bowman, Bush is known for her association with the Democratic party's anti-Semitic, pro-Hamas wing. Her opponent was backed by the pro-Israel lobby AIPAC, which also spent millions on defeating Bowman.

Bush was widely projected to lose her primary bid, and support from "the Squad" wasn't enough to put her over the line.

The embattled lawmaker had painted Bell as a conservative, citing his past work for a Republican candidate in 2006, Mark Byrne. But in the end, voters in her St. Louis district decided they had enough of her drama.

Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), and Bowman (Ny.) all rallied with Bush on a virtual call Monday.

“We have just ONE DAY ahead of us before primary Election Day. Come join Cori & some very special guests on Election Day eve to rally together and get out the vote!” Bush posted on Instagram.

Democrat compared herself to MLK...

During her short time in Congress, Bush has become known for her go-it-alone attitude and extreme rhetoric, particularly on race and policing. She came under more scrutiny over her campaign spending, which launched a federal investigation.

Not one for modesty, Bush compared the federal probe to the FBI's targeting of Martin Luther King, Jr.

"Just remember, think about how many folks was actually with Dr. King when Dr. King was doing all the things that he was doing," she told staff in a leaked January call. "How many folks turned away from him when the FBI came at him?"

Hours before Bush was sent packing Tuesday night, vice president Kamala Harris selected far-left Minnesota governor Tim Walz as her running mate. Walz's selection over Pennsylvania governor Josh Shapiro was widely seen as an attempt to appease the party's liberal, anti-Semitic base.

Other "Squad" members have proven resilient, especially its most famous member, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-Ny.), who soundly won her primary earlier this summer.
