Israel defies Harris, leading to the death of terrorist leader

It is because Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defied Vice President Kamala Harris and her White House that the world has been rid of Hamas's terrorist leader, Yahya Sinwar.

This is according to a new report from Fox News.

This whole situation is a major loss for Harris's presidential campaign.

It shows that if she were to be elected president, world leaders probably would not listen to her. Also, her attempt to get Israel to go easy on the very terrorist organization that attacked it is a bad look, to say the least.

Here's what is going on:

Several months back, in March 2024, Harris implied that Israel might face consequences from the Biden-Harris administration if it were to proceed with an invasion of Rafah.

Harris, at the time, said:

We have been clear in multiple conversations and in every way that any major military operation in Rafah would be a huge mistake. Let me tell you something. I have studied the maps. There's nowhere for those folks to go.

Harris's position was backed up by other members of her administration, including President Joe Biden and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.

Sullivan, for example, said:

Our position is that Hamas should not be allowed a safe haven in Rafah or anywhere else. But a major ground operation there would be a mistake. It would lead to more innocent civilian deaths, worsen the already dire humanitarian crisis, deepen the anarchy in Gaza and further isolate Israel internationally.

Well, to make a long story short, Israel did not heed the Biden-Harris administration's warnings.

He's dead

Israel proceeded to invade Rafah on the premise that it was one of the Hamas terrorist group's last remaining strongholds, and Netanyahu proved to be correct.

It was there that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) recently located Sinwar, the leader of Hamas. As such, Sinwar oversaw the attack that was carried out by Hamas on Israel, on Oct. 7, 2023.

Fox separately reports:

The IDF and Israel's Shin Bet intelligence agency released a joint statement saying it can "confirm that after a year-long pursuit, yesterday (Wednesday), October 16, 2024, IDF soldiers from the Southern Command eliminated Yahya Sinwar, the leader of the Hamas terrorist organization, in an operation in the southern Gaza Strip."

Subsequently, Biden and Harris both celebrated the death of Sinwar, even though the death only occurred because Netanyahu disobeyed them.

Now, the Biden and Harris administration is left looking like the very definition of ineffectual leadership.
