Kamala Harris is 'stewing' over election defeat

Former Vice President Kamala Harris is apparently having a difficult time accepting her loss to President Donald Trump.

This is according to a new report from the New York Times

This is one of several bombshell reports that have been released about Harris since the election. This includes some reports that have claimed that she and her husband's marriage is on the rocks.

These reports suggest that Harris has been spiraling ever since her defeat by Trump.

She's "stewing"

The Post's report picks up after Trump's inauguration, when Harris headed back to California.

The outlet writes:

Kamala Harris abruptly left DC for her native California the day after grimacing her way through Donald Trump’s inauguration, clad in a black funeral-esque suit. Safely back in La-La Land, the now-jobless former VP can process the first major defeat of her career.

Suffice it to say, that she's been struggling to do so.

The report continues:

No doubt still stewing over her loss, the crosshairs of blame are sure to be pointed at former President Joe Biden, accused of dropping out of the race too late. Also Trump, for his attacks, and even her own husband, Doug Emhoff, whose past indiscretions brought wave after wave of embarrassment to her campaign.

The report goes on to reveal that Harris "never had a backup plan for losing the election," that she "never acknowledged [her] shortcomings, and that she is refusing to take responsibility for her loss to Trump.

There's more:

A separate report reveals that Harris has actually turned to another woman who lost big to Trump for consolation, namely, Hillary Clinton.

Fox News reports:

As she grapples with navigating next steps, Harris has spoken with family and close friends, including the one other person who has been in her exact position: Hillary Clinton, New York Magazine reported. The two have reportedly spoken several times since Harris’ defeat.

As we know, losing to Trump is something that Clinton struggles with to this day. We know this because she seems to bring it up at least once in every public speaking event that she does.

The bad news for Harris, however, is that - although Clinton knows what it is like to lose to Trump - she does not seem to know how to accept the situation. We'll have to see if several years from now, Harris is still struggling to cope with the situation - as Clinton has.

Another big question is whether Trump has ended Harris's political career, as he did Clinton's. This remains to be seen.
